The African richest man and the president of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and the ten-time world richest man and co-founder of tech giant, Microsoft, Bill Gates, will on Monday visit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja.
This was made known to State House correspondents after a closed-door session with Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa on Friday.
The African richest man disclosed that “I did not come to do much; I only came to inform the President about our visit with Microsoft co-founder and my friend, Bill Gates; we will both see the President on Monday when we come together.”
This visit comes on the heels of the new regime’s widening plans to stimulate direct foreign investments into the country, as indicated in Tinubu’s inaugural speech on May 29.
Tinubu did promise that complaints from local and foreign investors about multiple taxes and various anti-business laws would be revisited to ensure that businesses in the country, particularly foreign investors, spend their hard-earned profits in their homeland if they so choose.
